Watched You There Below
Your Hearts Seemed Oh So Heavy
But There’s Something You Should Know
I’m Not Gone Don’t Worry
I’m Just A Step Ahead
And I’m With You Every Single Day
As You Rise Up From Your Bed
I Am The Sun That Warms You
I Am The Moon’s Soft Glow
I Am The Stars That Twinkle
And Light Your Path Below
So When At Times You Miss Me
Just Look For Me I’m There
For You Cannot Hide My Spirit
It Is With You Everywhere

I have not turned my back on you,
so there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven,
just beyond the morning sky.
I've seen you almost fall apart,
when you could barely stand.
I asked the Lord to comfort you,
and watched him take your hand.
He told me you are in more pain,
then I could ever be.
He wiped his eyes and swallowed hard,
then gave your hand to me.
Although you may not feel my touch,
or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you,
while I wiped each tear you cried.
So please try not to ache for me,
we'll meet again one day,
beyond the dark and stormy sky,
a Rainbow lights the way.

When I'm not there with you
& I can't hug you when I would.
Just follow these directions to
feel somewhere near as good.
Keep this verse where you're reminded
that my arms are seeking you,
& when you feel you need a hug,
this is all you have to do:
Shut your eyes & think of me,
Imagine that I'm there.
Wrap your arms tight round
yourself & space will disappear.
Very soon you'll feel the warmth
& this is why, you see.
Every time you hug yourself
You're also hugging me!

for P L S

please don't make stories up about the british army stoning children, as in any controlled unit they are under strict supervision, and would have been in serious trouble, and also it was the children who stoned the army and that was proved by the television coverage, and in the end this is not about scoring points but about a young mans life so please respect that and respect dannys familys feelings, and also remember the family want nice memories of danny and not political arguments. rest in peace danny. x

I can only imagine what it is to loose a child. I feel for you. I would also like to say my father was a british service man as is my husband and i can assure you murderer is not how i'd describe them. As most others have said wrong place wrong time. I am sorry for your loss.

when is it wrong to sit at your own front door. Danny was murdered like many innocents in Ardoyne. R.I.P

Not murdered by the British Army

Firstly I hope Danny is resting in eternal peace, I hope he is.

Secondly, I agree with Li, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time - the British army were there for a reason, if they hadnt been there the actions due to the sectarianism would have resulted in an absolute bloodbath.

Its unfair to say the British Army murdered him, without them, you would have lost a lot more lives, just ask any normal fair person from N Ireland. I'm from England, I'm not prejudice either, but I have very good friends in N Ireland, good people who want to live their lives in peace regardless of religion. I have friends who are both Protestant and Catholic.

Irrespective of what religion Danny was, and where he lived, he didnt deserve to be taken. Wrong place at wrong time. Dont blame the british army, they saved many lives throughout the years and many many people were glad of their presence.

Rest in Peace Danny, far too young to be taken to gods garden. I hope you're at peace.
